WAREHOUSE MANAGER

THE ROLE…Reporting to the National Warehouse Operations and Project Manager, the purpose of the position of VIC Warehouse Manager is to provide effective leadership across the VIC Warehouse, creating efficient warehouse operations that deliver the customer experience (keeping our promises). The performance of the VIC Warehouse must contribute to the overall performance of the Distribution Channel creating a competitive advantage for Beaumont Tiles.This role is responsible for (but not limited to):Safety Leadership, Role modelling and driving continuous improvement of the safety standards of the distribution networkDevelopment and Implementation of Warehouse safety improvement planProviding leadership and continual development of the warehouse leadership groupDevelopment, review and implementation of warehouse operating procedures via the Warehouse Standards Assessor roleManagement of processes that deliver the required Stock TurnsDevelopment, review and implementation of processes that impact both Stock Integrity and Capacity Management, Credit Returns, Stock Oddments, and Stock ClearanceQuarterly review of VIC Warehouse Performance to Key StakeholdersLiaise with State Managers and Retail Executives on transport strategies and effective management of internal and external expectationsDevelop a detailed knowledge of the entire product range (tiles, bathroom ware, stone, and trade product range) including product specifications, dimensions, variations, and applicationsTHE PERSON…You’re a high-performing, professional individual who can work both independently and as part of a supportive team environment. Having industry experience in a similar role, you’re a confident communicator who can remain calm under pressure.
