Family owned and operated AAV 4X4 is now one of Australia’s leading manufacturers of truck-based adventure vehicles, they now seek an Operations Manager to oversee operational aspects of the company's activities related to the design, production, and distribution of adventure vehicles. You tasks, among others, will include:

Develop and implement the operational strategy aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
Collaborate with senior management to define operational priorities, targets, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Conduct regular analysis of operational performance, identify areas for improvement, and recommend strategies for optimization.
Oversee the production process from design to delivery, ensuring efficiency, quality, and timely completion.
Establish and monitor production schedules, resource allocation, and capacity planning to meet customer demands.
Implement and maintain quality control measures, ensuring adherence to product specifications and standards.
Manage the company's supply chain activities, including procurement, vendor relationships, and inventory control.
Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of raw materials, components, and equipment.
Optimize inventory levels, minimize stockouts, and monitor inventory accuracy through effective tracking systems
Provide leadership, guidance, and direction to the operations team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Recruit, train, and develop staff to build a skilled and motivated workforce.
Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and implement performance improvement initiatives.
Identify opportunities to streamline operations, reduce costs, and enhance productivity.
Implement lean manufacturing principles and process optimization techniques to improve efficiency and eliminate waste.
Lead cross-functional teams in process improvement projects, driving innovation and best practices.

Applicants must have previous experience in a similar role and show strong leadership qualities. You will have strong people skills, be a strategic thinker and planner, be motivated to build and encourage your team, and happily embrace change management.

Salary is expected to be between $100k - $150k + Super, depending on previous experience. A full job description is available on request.
