(Global Oil Gas) Senior Rotating Reliability or Mechanical Engineer

The company was founded on May 29, 1933 and is headquartered in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.</p> <p><b>Job Summary</b></p> <p>We are seeking a reliability/Mechanical Engineer to join the producing maintenance division.The organization handles all reliability activities for all rotating equipment.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Be accountable for the reliability of designated area's rotating equipment</li> <li>Conduct troubleshooting and failure analysis for critical or major equipment issues</li> <li>Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for equipment-related matters</li> <li>Review and update maintenance strategy annually for optimization</li> <li>Coordinate with workshops to review machinery repair procedures and work scopes</li> <li>Assess and add necessary work for rotating equipment during Turnaround & Inspection (T&I)</li> <li>Identify and implement new technologies for proactive maintenance</li> <li>Review Engineering Request packages for machinery modifications or upgrades</li> <li>Calculate and update monthly and year-to-date asset Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)</li> <li>Issue monthly reliability program reports, updating equipment health progress</li> <li>Follow up on the area's Equipment Maintenance Program (EMP) and trends</li> <li>Establish a fault analysis database for assets, ensuring data completeness and updates</li> <li>Approve SAP equipment maintenance history records for failed rotating equipment</li> <li>Investigate trips on critical equipment to identify root causes and propose solutions</li> <li>Oversee Preventive Maintenance (PM), Predictive Maintenance (PdM), Proactive Maintenance (PaM), and Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) programs</li> <li>Conduct life cycle cost analysis for bad actors and expensive repairs</li> </ul> <p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>This role required candidate to permanently relocate at Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.</strong></li> <li>Hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering</li> <li>Minimum of 5 years' experience, preferably in the oil, gas, or similar process industry</li> <li>Extensive experience in rotating equipment and reliability functions</li> <li>Comprehensive knowledge and practical experience in troubleshooting, investigation, and failure mode analysis</li> <li>Familiarity with reliability programs</li> <li>Full knowledge of international standards and practices related to maintenance and reliability</li> <li>Possess valid internationally recognized professional certifications such as CMRP or any reliability certificate</li> </ul>
