Every day our Case Managers help coordinate, negotiate, and facilitate an injured worker’s recovery and return to work. From an injured Police officer to a builder, hospitality worker to a farmer - you name it, we help. As a senior team member, you’ll provide coaching and handle escalations. Join us in this impactful role where your expertise matters. We have opportunities available in our Australian offices across New South Wales, Queensland, Victoria, and Western Australia with a generous relocation allowance on offer for eligible candidates . This will be a full time, permanent position with flexibility to WFH (work from home). YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Pro-actively manage a portfolio of workers compensation claims to achieve the optimum outcome of early and sustainable return to work with reasonable claim costs Collaborate with medical professionals, employers, brokers, rehab providers and other stakeholders to create an effective Return to Work strategy Assist the worker and employer with the claim process, providing support, managing expectations and ensuring timely access to required services to support return to work and injury recovery Administration tasks aligned to the management of a portfolio including processing payments, reviewing documentation received for the claim, sending relevant correspondence and recording action taken in line with insurance scheme requirements Assess aspects of liability and recovery relevant to the legislation or policies while undertaking ongoing reviews in relation to entitlements and payments Respond to escalations and provide coaching and mentoring to other members of the team ABOUT YOU Minimum 3 years of experience working within the New Zealand Accident Compensation Scheme An empathetic, resilient, and motivational approach to provide customer centric support A driven professional with highly developed written and verbal communication skills Careful consideration to detail with a high concern for accuracy.
