About the role: The Risk & Compliance Manager will oversee the creation and execution of robust risk management and compliance systems. Additionally, actively identifying and mitigating risks across the Power Generation business unit, by establishing comprehensive frameworks for risk identification and compliance. Ensuring the effective management of risk and corporate governance across all current and future power generation assets and activities. In this role, you’ll b e : Guarantee the implementation and upkeep of all necessary compliance measures and controls, encompassing company policies and registers. Advocating improvement ideas, fostering team member support and buy-in for proposed changes. Ensure H&S policy, procedures and legislative requirements are implemented. Establish procedures for recognizing and addressing threats that may impede the attainment of business objectives. Support the Power Generation Leadership Team in ensuring that the needs and expectations of all stakeholders are appropriately met. Ideally, you’ll bring to the role: Tertiary qualifications in engineering, insurance or business administration. Relevant professional experience in Power Generation or Heavy Industry.  Extensive senior-level expertise in risk management, compliance, and corporate governance. Proficient in identifying and comprehending business risks and evaluating strategies to mitigate them effectively. Specialist knowledge of procurement concepts, processes, activities and trends Proficiency in delivering technical leadership, complemented by adept people and project management capabilities.
