Production Team Member / Metal Processing

Full Time  Opportunity Monday to Friday | Afternoon Shift  Safety First  Culture   THE OPPORTUNITY   Stratco’s Canning Vale manufacturing and roll form facility is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Metal Processing Operators to join their O perations Team . The role of the Production Team Member also known as a Sheetmetal Operator, is to manufacture and assemble products for our trade and retail customer base.   RESPONSIBILITIES Manufacturing and assembling of goods to the customers’ requirements Operating metal folding, roll form and pressing machines Interpret product drawings  General housekeeping activities Contribute in tool box and team meetings  Participate in relevant training in the use of specific items of plant and equipment Strict adherence to our critical safety rules & contributing to a safe working environment ABOUT YOU Experience in setting up and operating manufacturing machinery Experience using sheet metal manufacturing equipment, particularly roll form machines and metal bending machinery (folders, press & breaks) would be preferred, but not essential Essential - Forklift Licence Effective problem solver who can develop solutions that meet the customers’ needs Good communicator, both written and verbal Strong work ethic and a can-do attitude Able to work at pace within a team or at times individually A commitment to producing quality products!
