For more information, click here. What you will do The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for managing a territory, meeting with new and existing customers to expand the business' market share, achieving sales of new products/ranging/POS/shelf and training targets.
You will build and maintain strong strategic customer relationships to accelerate both current and future growth opportunities by reviewing your own sales performance against objectives and adjusting focus to achieve sales goals. Key Responsibilities • Developing and implementing territory plans to ensure pre-determined objectives are achieved to specific store/ territory sales and cycle targets. • Ensures that designated products are ranged and sold in line with ranging targets specified for all independent grocery accounts on their territory (Must Stock List). • Implementing designated POS items that are negotiated in line with cycle objectives and are executed within store for all accounts on their territory. • Completes cycle planning and implements these plans to ensure effective territory management as per set cycle targets. • Ensures resources, such as point of sale material and trade spend, are deployed to best service the territory to maximise sales and distribution. • Ensures territory management practices are structured to meet sales and marketing objectives. • Updating CRM after each call, and ensures customer profiling info is accurate, to ensure effective planning and organising • Uses facts, data, and insights as part of the persuasion cycle to negotiate with customers. • Regularly conducts business reviews with key accounts to build relations. • Uses industry networks to gather market intelligence and enhance customer rapport. Qualifications What we are looking for Required Qualifications • Territory sales experience within the Pharmacy Channel (preferred) • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and ability to think strategically • Proficient in MS Office and CRM systems, knowledge of Perenso or similar favourable • Demonstrated success in delivering sales results and achieving targets • Thorough knowledge and understanding of sales, brand & category applications, and principles • Valid driver's license and clean driving record • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Positive attitude and strong work ethic Desired Qualifications • Leadership potential with experience in leading projects and/or taskforces • Proactive, innovative, and independent worker with initiative and commitment to drive business results • In-depth knowledge of the U.S.
