About Assets and OperationsOur Assets and Operations team in the Mid North Coast has numerous roles that we are currently recruiting for; Electrical Workers (Plant Operator) at Taree (2), Kempsey and Buladelah Electrical Technician at Buladelah Powerline Workers at Taree (5), Kempsey, Buladelah and Stroud Cable Jointer at Taree About the Mid North CoastSituated 400 kms north of Sydney the Mid North Coast has it all - beaches, subtropical national parks and forests, as well as rural farmland. The area is known for its pristine waterways and beaches, stunning hinterland with rivers, streams and forests. About TareeA historic town on the banks of the beautiful Manning River, Taree is the vibrant centre of the Manning Valley and a great base for exploring the national parks and beautiful beachers of the Barrington Coast. Taree has all of the factilities, accommodation, restaurants and cafes, farmers markets and activities you need, whilst still within commuting distance from coastal locations; Forster, Hallidays Point, Diamond Beach, Old Bar and Harrington. If Taree is not your preferred location we are also recruiting for Electrical Workers at Kempsey and Buladelah. About Electrical Worker (Plant Operator) As an Electrical Worker you will be responsible for a range of activities assisting with the installation, construction and maintenance of the energy distribution and other utility and telecommunication infrastructure requirements.This role is similar to a plant operator and does not require an electrical qualification.You will also operate related plant and equipment and be involved in other customer service activities. About youYou will have a collaborative approach and understand the importance of working side by side with colleagues and customers. You will positively contribute to the community and stakeholders and put safety at the forefront of everything you do. Required qualifications Demonstrated capability through past employment experience and relevant qualifications Driver License WorkCover NSW Construction Induction Cert Experience in the operation of vehicles, plant and equipment Understanding of the safety and environmental requirements Desirable qualifications Test and Tagging Dogging Crane Borer Excavator Skid Steer Elevated Work Platform Traffic Control Chemical Awareness, handling and storage Manual Handling Why Essential Energy We offer competitive remuneration commensurate with skills and experience and 16% superannuation.
