[PF-515] Remote Area Nurse - Men's Health - Northern Territory

Curis Recruitment have a fantastic opportunity available for a Men's Health RAN to work with a wonderful Aboriginal Health Service in the Arnhem Region of the Northern Territory.

• Up to $126,550.00 per annum + 11% superannuation

The Location

You will be working with one of the largest Aboriginal communities in the Northern Territory and is situated on the north coast of Arnhem Land, about 500km east of Darwin.

Although quite a remote community, it has basic services and facilities, including a health clinic, school, and various community services. You will be close to beautiful scenery, including rivers, coastal areas, and nearby national parks.

Key Responsibilities

• Work within the Men’s Health Program in partnership with the multi-disciplinary team to provide high quality prevention and treatment
• Provide culturally safe, competent and comprehensive care
• Build relationships with local communities to understand and address healthcare needs
• Coordinate with local healthcare providers, social services, and other relevant agencies to ensure comprehensive care

Essential Requirements

• Current AHPRA registration with no restrictions
• Min 5 years broad nursing experience post registration and 3 years working in a primary health related field in a remote context, preferably in Men’s Health
• Remote experience with the ability to participate in on-call roster
• Qualifications and experience directly related to Men’s Health, preferably in community setting
