Exp Disability Support Worker - Handyperson for the Cre8 Shed Monday to Friday casual positions Shepparton location – Competitive Salary and NFP Salary Packaging About the role  VMCH Disability Services provides statewide, high-quality services aimed at supporting individuals to remain independent within the community. We require an enthusiastic and creative Handyman to join the team to work in the Cre8 Shed.   You will provide assistance and encouragement to people living with a disability to learn skills and have fun!  You may be required to work in other programs depending on needs. About You  Previous experience in a trade or handyperson role would be advantageous.  You require a knowledge and capability in using tools and power tools and assisting other to learn.  You will enjoy working in a creative environment.   Experience working with in the Disability Sector highly regarded but not essential.  Skills and Experience  Outstanding communication skill, ability to communicate with a diverse range of people. Experience working with people with a disability. Certificate III Individual Support or Cert IV Disability – highly desirable NDIS Worker Screening Check and Workers Induction module certificate. Ability to work effectively in a team. Current valid full Driver’s Licence, Working with Children’s Check (WWCC) and Current Level 2 First Aid Certificate Relevant COVID-19 vaccination.
