Occupational Therapist – Grade 1 Permanent Full Time or Part Time – Up to 1.8EFT available. Classification: Occupational Therapist Grade 1 Dependant on Experience Award: Allied Health Professionals (Victorian Public Health Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2021 – 2025 This is a great opportunity for suitably qualified Grade 1 Occupational Therapist's to join the team in Community Services at MDHS, working in a permanent position! In this role you will be responsible for providing a range of Occupational Therapy services, including community, acute, Transitional Care Program (TCP), residential aged care and National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) across the MDHS catchment area. KEY SELECTION CRITERIA Qualifications / Experience * * Relevant tertiary qualification to work as an Occupational Therapist. * Registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) * Eligibility to be registered as an Occupational Therapist under the National Registration and Accreditation Scheme with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia * Eligibility to be a member of the Australian Association of Occupational Therapists Specialist Expertise * * Knowledge and/or ability to assess and provide broad-based Occupational Therapy interventions for clients/patients/residents, especially in relation to activities of daily living (ADLs) * Understanding and/or experience of working and communicating with clients/patients/residents from various backgrounds. * Demonstrated experience in working within a multi-disciplinary environment, as well as working autonomously. * Understanding and commitment to practice that reflects evidence-based treatment and client-centred work. * Demonstrated evidence of commitment to ongoing education and professional development to ensure working within current scope of practice.
