Initially the pool will seek to fill positions listed above, however additional positions for other learning areas may also be available with later commencement dates.The Authority provides quality curriculum, assessment, and standards to enable all Western Australian students to become confident, creative learners and active, informed citizens who contribute positively to society.The Principal Consultant, Secondary - Curriculum and Assessment manages and provides leadership for the development and review of curriculum, assessment and standards support materials for Years 7-12. This position will involve the development and review of curriculum, assessment and standards support materials developed by the Authority, together with responsibility for using processes and meeting deliverables related to the project of adopting and/or adapting the Australian Curriculum version for the Pre-primary to Year 10 Western Australian Curriculum and Assessment Outline. Successful applicants may also be engaged in the Authority’s processes with regard to WACE course delivery, implementation and moderation.Successful applicants should have good communication skills, strong time management and organisational skills, and the ability to develop documents collegially, with a focus on internal timeframes.
