They will also be responsible for the management of Facilities Maintenance team on a day-to-day basis optimising allocation of resources in support of maximising serviceability of AAL assets. Key responsibilities will include:Responsible for the planning, scheduling and coordination of maintenance activities at Adelaide and Parafield AirportsManage Facilities Maintenance opex budgets and ensure scheduling of works is managed efficiently in line with delegated financial authority to achieve required financial targets Day-to-day management of Facilities Maintenance team scheduling and optimisation of resourcesEfficient management of maintenance activity to optimise serviceability of all AAL assetsOversight of contractor maintenance activities and service provision in line with agreed contract undertakings and priorities in line with regulatory requirementsOptimise use of Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) Support Head of Facilities and Asset Management in delivery of departmental business plansManage, coach and develop a high performing teamCommunication with all internal and external stakeholders in a consistent fashion to ensure departmental objectives and priorities are defined and deliveredDrive increased productivity through efficient allocation of resources and appropriate cross training to meet required maintenance activity targetsUnderstand, work within and contribute to the development of company policies and proceduresOther duties as directed by the Head of Facilities and Asset ManagementContribute to Airport Emergency Response The successful applicant will require:Tertiary qualifications in technology and management related disciplines or practical experience leading to the acquisition of equivalent skill levelProven experience as a Building Services Engineer (HEVAC) or Electrical EngineerDemonstrated experience at leading multi-disciplined groupsPrevious management and financial skills experienceProven people management skillsExperience in estimating and budgetingAbility to write detailed and complex technical reports and policy manualsKnowledge of computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS)Ability to work autonomously with attention to detailStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate, negotiate and influence people at all levelsStrong verbal and written communication skills and ability to communicate effectivelyHigh level of customer service skillsPrevious airport operations experience is desirable.
