Together, we’re working at the pace of change to improve patient lives with diagnostic tools that address the world’s biggest health challenges. The Continuous Improvement Specialist will be responsible for supporting the building of Danaher Business System Fundamentals culture and sustainability across our Co.Clare facility.In this role you have the opportunity to:- Support the building of DBS fundamentals culture and sustainabilityIdentify and eliminate process waste by continually driving a cultural shift in the organisation through the use of DBS toolsEnsure successful kaizen events by installing and ensuring compliance to the kaizen process( includes planning of kaizen with a dynamic funnel process tied to policy deployment, kaizen execution and sustainment of kaizen)providing DBS training and coaching: improve DBS training and facilitation sills by pursuing certification in DBS fundamentals and lean toolsImprove baseline performance relative to cost, quality, supply and responsiveness by delivering business resultsSupport the establishment of DBS systems strategies, decide priorities, project goals and assess results by working with LeadershipMentoring and coach the site associates in DBS processesEnsure Improvement targets are consistently met or exceeded by using DBS principles and Lean conversion methods and practiceThe essential requirements of the role include:-BS or BA (Level 8) Degree in Business, Science or Engineering required with a minimum 2 years relevant experience Experience with Lean techniques such as Value Stream Mapping; Standard Work; SMED and 5S or similar Strong training, consulting and influencing skillsExperience analyzing problems and situations using GembaKnowledge of Problem-Solving Process (PSP) DIVEAt Danaher we bring together science, technology and operational capabilities to accelerate the real-life impact of tomorrow’s science and technology.
