Regional Sales Manager, SA/WA/NT (location: Adelaide SA or Perth WA)

We foster an inclusive culture and are looking for diverse, talented people to join Alcon.Major Accountabilities:Achievement of the sales plan for the regionCoach and motivate the sales teamResponisble for commercial arrangements within the regionResponsible for building and maintaining positive professional relationships with all external stakeholders in the territory:Assist the sales team in maintaining relationships and gaining commitment and usage of promoted products through meeting with key customersRepresentation of the company at trade association meetings to promote productOrganisational Development:Clear evidence of the desired behaviours and accountabilities being driven across the teamRegional Sales team has:Aligned, SMART objectives in place in a timely mannerQuality development plans in place on the TMS system that are being actionedRegular coaching sessions and one to one discussionsDrive and own the talent selection / hiring process for key rolesAct in accordance with Alcon Values and behaviours.Education/Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in Science or BusinessSkills/Experience:Minimum: A minimum of 5-10 years sales experience in medical devices Proven record of Sales successLogical and systematic approach to achieve objectives of the role.Strong understanding of Ophthalmic procedures, product technologyAbility to set objectivesStrong leadership experience5+ Sales management experienceAll applicants need to have full Australian work rights.Relocation could be considered for the right candidate in Australia.
