We currently have an opportunity for a  Processing Plant Operator.  This position will be based at REMONDIS  Dandenong South, Victoria . What are the main responsibilities? Monitoring and general maintenance of Liquid Treatment Plant; Ensure effective application and adherence of quality, safety and environmental procedures and operations; Sampling and testing of liquid waste. Liaise with Plant Supervisors to ensure efficient processing of Liquid waste Ensure all documentation associated with day to day operations is maintained in an accurate manner Ensure supply of consumables and equipment to enable staff to process liquid waste at the Facility Operate a range of equipment as directed Ensure material being processed fits to specification as required for external accepting companies or authorities Exercise utmost care in equipment operation and comply with requirements Attend to basic maintenance of equipment and report in writing any faults that have occurred in the daily operation of the equipment  What We’re Looking For Previous experience in a similar position, or waste management industry (ideal but not essential);  HR license Availability to work 5AM to 1PM from Tuesday to Saturday. Good time management and literacy skills Good communication and customer service skills Safety focused; and Able to work in a team environment As part of our usual recruitment process you will be required to provide a copy of a current licence, proof of entitlement to work in Australia, and undergo a full medical, with a drug and alcohol test.
