As an Assistant Venue Manager, you will be a pro-active and enthusiastic individual who is an expert within leading a luxury venue. The successful applicant for this role will need to be dynamic, well presented, commercially savvy and pro-active to the needs of our guests and a real people person. In this role you will be responsible for the day–to-day operation of this luxury rooftop venue offering a unique crafted dining experience, including effective management of a dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity where you will showcase your food and beverage leadership and customer service throughout our property at The Star Gold Coast. A few of your responsibilities: Work alongside the Venue Manager to recruit and develop team members Ensuring RSA standards are met at all times Team member rostering and ordering of essential stock for the venue Ensuring all team members maintain cleanliness and organisation of the venue Serving Food and creating and serving of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for our patrons What are we looking for: Extensive Food & Beverage experience within a high end venue Ability to identify and drive additional revenue & business opportunities A passion for the industry and achieving positive results Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of guests and team Strong stakeholder management experience, people leadership and team engagement skills Highly organised, accountable, and eager, with a high attention to detail About you: With your exceptional attention to detail and security background, you will take pride in ensuring a safe and unforgettable experience for our guests.
