Company Description Vital Allied Health Services is a small family owned business. Having been established in small country towns in the Wheatbelt of WA we understand how important it is to be a good person as well as a good therapist. In the last year we have established a mobile allied health service in the Perth metro area. We aim to provide a truly patient/person centred service to our clients. We also aim to generously reward our staff for the hard work they put in. Role Description This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate. You will have experience in managing a caseload of NDIS and HCP clients. You will also be proficient at: Developing strategies and treatment plans to support patients in overcoming their challenges Assessing the patient’s environment, such as work or home, to suggest modifications as needed Teaching patients exercises and strategies to apply in their daily lives Providing advice on technical equipment that may support the patient Liaising with other treating professionals to discuss patient progress Job particulars -This is a contract remote role -50-60% per billable hour -Flexibility to work hours that suit you (Ideally between 20-30 hours per week) -We will provide a work phone and laptop or iPad (if required) -PD to be covered as required -You will work with people of all ages Qualifications and experience Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy Valid Occupational Therapist qualification as per AHPRA 3-5 years of experience working in the NDIS and/or HCP Demonstrated ability to efficiently produce required reports including FCA's Strong communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge of relevant therapy techniques and interventions Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities Compassionate and patient-centered approach NDIS workers screening check Police check Working with children's check If you would like any further information regarding the role, please get in touch with Cody via his LinkedIn profile.
