Catering Assistant – Wagga Wagga

RSL LifeCare is looking for Catering Assistants workers for our 83 bedded aged care home – Remembrance Village, Wagga Wagga , NSW. This opportunity is perfect for Food Services Assistant/Catering Assistants who have a background in Aged Care/Disability Support/Commercial kitchen and are looking to enter the industry. As a Catering Assistant , you will be responsible for ensuring high standard of food service to our residential aged care home . You will work alongside the care and support team to ensure that residents receive the highest quality in dining experience each time they receive meals. Ideally you will have: Experience as a Kitchen hand in an aged care setting or similar setting Experience in following a comprehensive schedule and procedures An understanding of how to maintain a OH&S safe & clean environment for resident, staff and visitors It is a mandatory requirement for a team member working in the Aged Care sector to have a valid RSL LifeCare Police Check or a valid National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) check, or potentially both, to undertake the inherent requirements of the role.
