Qualified and Experienced Grill Cook Required

POSITION OVERVIEW We at Agnew IRM are seeking 2 qualified and experienced Grill Cooks to work on a, basis for an established licensed restaurant in Townsville owned and operated by our client.r> POSITION SKILLS CRITERIA Preparing, cooking and presenting all menu items, together with special items that meet the special dietary requirements of patrons.r> Portioning, arranging and garnishing all menu items to a high degree of presentation prior to service.r> Ensuring that service times are kept short whilst preparation standards always remain high.r> Ensuring that all meals to be served to a single table are prepared, cooked, and presented at the same time.r> Receiving and storing perishable kitchen supplies and non-perishable kitchen supplies and equipment as required.r> Ensuringthat venue policies, procedures and standards in relation to food quality, kitchen hygiene, workplace health and safety, and customer service are strictly adhered to.r> Attending and actively participating at staff meetings and briefings.r> Directly assisting the Kitchen Manager and other Senior Kitchen staff as required.r> POSITION PERSONAL CRITERIA Relevant cooking trade qualifications - AQF or Overseas - essential.r> 5 years of relevant employment experience in busy commercial kitchens essential.r> Experience in grill cooking an advantage.r> Ability to communicate effectively within the workplace.r> Ability to work well as part of a team.r> Ability to manage time and work calmly under pressure.r> Ability to work on a, unrestricted basis.r> POSITION SALARY $58,.er annum + super FOR POSITION No telephone calls at this stage please.r>
