Cranbrook Care is looking for a Casual Reception to join the team at our multi-award-winning architecturally designed aged care residence, Lansdowne Gardens, in Neutral Bay (Sydney lower North Shore).**

Lansdowne Gardens, with the luxury and warmth of a stately home overlooking Sydney Harbour, sets a new standard in residential aged care. It is an Extra Service facility and thereby provides additional ‘hotel’ type services or lifestyle extras, including higher standards of accommodation and increased activities, entertainment, and food choices.

ABOUT THE ROLE

An exciting opportunity exists for a caring and team-orientated Receptionist to join the team on a casual basis. You will support the Receptionist/Administator assist with answering the phone, greeting and providing assistance to visitors and general office duties.

In this hands-on role, you will develop a deep and broad knowledge and understanding of our staff and our residents, enabling you to deliver exceptional client services that are responsive, inclusive and sensitive the diverse needs of our staff and residents.

You will be supported by the Residential Services Manager and a team of expert partners from the Cranbrook Care family.

To succeed in this role, you will need the following skills and qualifications :

  • Previous receptionist or client service experience essential
  • Commitment to delivering an exceptional level of customer service
  • Strong verbal, written, and Microsoft Office skills
  • Excellent personal presentation, outgoing and approachable personality
  • Willing to learn and be flexible
  • Able to work across a number of databases when trained
  • Good multi-tasking and prioritisation skills
  • A professional and personable telephone manner
  • Able to work individually and as part of a team
  • Be vaccinated for Influenza and COVID-19 (including Booster)
  • Cert III in Business Administration, HR, Customer Service or equivalent qualification/experience (desirable)
  • Experience working in Aged Care/Community Care or in a retail or Hospitality environment (desirable)
