Description : About the role

Based out of the new North East Adelaide CPBS office, the Regional Clinical Manager will report to the Head of Regional Services, South Australia. The leadership and management of a team of talented Behaviour Support Practitioners will be at the heart of your role. This includes high-level team supervision across clinical framework development, evaluation of programme outcomes and contributing to best practice in psychological science and Applied Behaviour Analysis. Additionally, you will collaborate with management to drive business development and growth activities for insert location.

What you'll do

Clinical focus

Provide specialist clinical supervision to a team of Behaviour Support Practitioners in line with the CPBS supervision framework. Identify gaps in clinical knowledge within the team and work with the State Clinical Manager to address them. Contribute to the evolution and evaluation of CPBS clinical framework. Provide support in crisis situations. Ensure practitioners are operating within industry compliance standards, legislative requirements, and organisational policies and are maintaining ethical practices including but not limited to attaining NDIS compliance checks, maintaining professional registrations, Work Health and Safety and risk management requirements. Adhere to NDIS Quality and Safeguard Commission requirements.

Leadership focus

Oversee workflow management across the team. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in clinical practice service delivery and professional development of practitioners for various clinical roles. Develop and maximise clinical teams’ efficiency in provision of client service hours. Collaborate with the HRS to determine recruitment and workforce planning needs. Undertake performance development activities including performance reviews for team members.

Skills and Experiences : What you'll need

  • A bachelor's degree or post graduate qualifications related to Positive Behaviour Support
  • Demonstrated experience managing teams using highly refined leadership skills, including knowledge, and understanding of contemporary HR practices.
  • Demonstrated capacity to process substantial amounts of data.
  • Excellent level of oral and written communication skills including the demonstrated ability to prepare and finalise complex reports.
  • Demonstrated experience providing clinical supervision to Behaviour Support Practitioners.
  • Substantial experience providing Positive Behaviour Support services.
  • Extensive knowledge of federal and/or territory legislation and process related to restricted practice.
  • A valid Driver License and vehicle.
  • To possess and maintain all mandatory compliance checks including the NDIS Workers Screening Check, NDIS Practitioner ID and any relevant State-issued WWCC/WWVP cards.
