About Your New Role- Import Operator  Managing transactions in CargoWise Assist operations on generating invoices as per quotes and updating on profit/loss of each job as necessary. Posting new jobs in CargoWise and cross checking all information entered is as per provided documents/information. Covering logistics coordinator role as required which includes checking of consignments, weekly loadout and backload. Arranging export and import of various mining parts and equipment. Arranging transportation for weekly run from warehouse to site. Arrange meetings as and when required. CargoWise communication with overseas contractors on improving industry practices and resolving issues with CargoWise. Provide a high level of customer service to all internal and external stakeholders, including maintaining exceptional relationships with customers, carriers, subcontractors, and internal staff. Ensure critical freight is moved in the most efficient manner possible and all consignments are proactively monitored throughout their journey to the end point. Ability to evaluate and process shipping documentation including all the associated administration for all aspect of the logistics (import, export and domestic transport). Ensuring all shipping is compliant with all Australian and international regulations. Ability to enforce and comply with all safe work practices and procedures set in place, including reporting and documenting any potential incidents. Managing costs and resources including the provision of quotations. Working closely with the warehouse team to provide first-in-class 3PL services. What you'll need to succeed Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role Import Operator experience  Ability to resolve problems effectively and efficiently. Excellent written and verbal communication Exceptional time management skills Strong planning and organizational skills including ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple tasks. Team oriented, have an eye for detail, willing to learn and see work through to completion.
