About the Role: Provide high level support, maintenance and development of the ABC’s Cloud Platforms and its associated cloud management tools in line with ABC strategy and objectives. Key Accountabilities: Under broad direction, and in collaboration with the ABC project development and support teams, automate building and deployment of infrastructure in AWS utilising CI/CD tools such as GitLab or Bamboo. Design and implement new cloud hosted applications in line with business objectives. Develop and maintain ABC’s cloud deployment and management platform using highly advanced automation skills. Lead or contribute significantly to the operation and support of applications and services provided by the team. Participation in the team’s on-call rotation, in support of the Cloud Platform. Continually improve system reliability, quality and security through monitoring, reporting and fault resolution on supported platforms. Provide specialist advice and proactively identify opportunities to improve efficiency by automating existing processes. Develop and maintain technical standards and support documentation. In collaboration with Agile teams, participate in planning and review meetings, and contribute significantly to the management of projects to ensure project deliverables are completed within agreed timeframes. Maintain a highly advanced technical knowledge of ABC Cloud Platform systems and services and share this information with the team and wider business. About You: Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent significant skills, knowledge and experience. Current knowledge of and a keen interest in the Internet and media industries. Demonstrated extensive experience deploying and managing a variety Amazon Web Services (AWS) services, including but not limited to EC2, S3, Lambda, ECS, RDS and VPC’s. Experience with use of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is also desirable. Solid experience with CI/CD and IaC tools such as GitLab, Bitbucket & Bamboo, CloudFormation, Ansible, Terraform. Well versed with Linux and Microsoft Windows Server operating systems. Extensive experience with using common third-party Cloud management tools such as Datadog and Splunk Excellent proficiency in common scripting languages such as Python and Bash Highly advanced problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate, analyse and solve very complex technical problems. Highly advanced communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders and work effectively in a team environment. Previous experience working with Agile project management practices is desirable. About ABC Product & Technology: Product & Technology (P&T) is responsible for delivering the technology and services that enable the ABC to fulfil its creative, strategic and business goals. The scope of activities and responsibilities of the P&T range from keeping ABC programs and services on-air and on-line, to delivering on key projects, as well as assisting in setting the technology strategy and architecture for the ABC.
