Advertised Vacancy Number: IPS/TCH894724Appointment PoolMorley Senior High School is seeking to establish a pool of English Teachers for appointments to permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2024 school year and up to the end of Term 2, 2025. Appointments can be made from the pool at any time for commencements within the 2024 school year, up to the end of Term 2, 2025.Suitable applicants should ideally be expert, passionate teachers of English and Literature with a commitment to excellence in teaching and learning. They should be able to display an excellent knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum and experience in developing and delivering a broad spectrum of English curriculum, using a wide range of teaching models. Qualifications and experience in teaching Literature will be considered highly desirable.Ideally applicants will be inclusive in their practice and be able to cultivate a safe and accountable learning environment for students in varying ability levels across Year 7-12. Suitable applicants will be highly proficient in motivating and engaging students through their relevant and meaningful learning programs and be able to demonstrate the effective use of information and communication technologies in the teaching of English and Literature.We are looking for dynamic and collaborative individuals who are committed to working effectively as part of a team and who strive to connect and inspire with staff, students, and the wider school community. The successful applicants will ideally possess excellent interpersonal skills and be relationship focused with the expectation that they are able to take on course leadership responsibilities.
