Be challenged and imagine with us : As Relationship Manager (Philanthropy), you will play an integral role in the development and implementation of major gift fundraising initiatives for our University.

You will be responsible for coordinating and driving engagement for a portfolio of current and prospective major gift donors. Your goal will be to attract and retain philanthropic funding from both individuals and companies to achieve key priorities through a donor-centred approach.

In this role you will:

  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders within your portfolio to identify fundraising priorities and achieve their objectives.
  • Develop proposals, deliver presentations, and negotiate philanthropic funding with prospective donors.
  • Identify story leads, content for articles, and promotional material to highlight the impact of philanthropy.

How will you inspire us? : You will have:

  • Proven experience in major gift fundraising and achieving income targets.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement strategic fundraising initiatives.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • A donor-centred approach with a deep understanding of aligning donor interests with institutional priorities.

What we offer : The remuneration for this position is from $99,655 to $112,112 + 17% superannuation and is commensurate with skills and experience.
