We are partnered with a well-known utility organisation for the recruitment of 2 GIS Data Editors. The Roles These 2 positions are contract roles, commencing asap and will likely run until the end of 2024. 3 positions have already been filled, and 2 remain. You, and your new colleagues, will be primarily responsible for updating and editing Electrical asset data in a Geospatial Information Systems called GE Smallworld. You don't need to know this system though - if you have experience with other Geospatial Information Systems then you'll be able to learn this one. These positions would operate on a Monday to Friday basis, working 37.5 hours per week, offering great hourly rates, and working for one of WA's best employers. More on them below… Your Background We are seeking candidates from a GIS background - you'll ideally have some hands on industry experience. You'll ideally have tertiary qualifications in GIS, or a Tertiary discipline that has a GIS component (Urban planning, environmental science etc). If you have experience within a (Electrical) Utility or Government setting you'll pick this work up quickly. You'll also need to supply a police clearance prior to starting and have unrestricted working rights. The Company This organisation has an amazing community focus.
