Department for Health and Wellbeing – Strategy and Governance – Governance Advisory ServicesSalary: $97,022 to $102,626 – ASO6 – Full Time / Ongoing appointment Overview:The Senior Assurance Consultant position is a key role within the Department for Health and Wellbeing (DHW) Governance Advisory Services branch and is accountable to the Team Leader Assurance for: Assisting in the development of the DHW risk based Internal Audit Plan.Planning, conducting, and reporting on internal audit projects undertaken as per the approved DHW Internal Audit Plan.Managing and undertaking special projects and investigations on behalf of DHW.Inputting into plans and programs of work for the Internal Audit team and assisting in the facilitation of external provider reviews as required.Providing professional advice to management within DHW regarding risks and controls, processes, and systems.
