Financial Accountant - A07

This Financial Accountant will co-ordinate and deliver high quality financial accounting services to clients including the preparation of financial statements for multiple clients, maintaining effective tax compliance services for multiple clients, the delivery of financial training and the provision of high level financial accounting advice. Responsibilities: Co-ordinate and deliver high quality financial accounting services,including preparation of financial statements, to multiple clients. Provide financial training & high level financial accounting advice to clients. Work collaboratively with other members of the Financial Management team and clients. Develop and implement strategies and processes to improve efficiency. Mentor other finance staff. Liaise with key government agencies as required Ensure adherence to accounting standards, legislative and departmental mandates. Skills and experience required Preferably CA or CPA Experience in Queensland Government at the A07 level as a Financial Accountant. Preferably experience with Tridata and TechnologyOne, although not mandatory. Previous experience supervising junior staff. Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills. Attention to detail. Ability to work with a high volume of transactions.
