Do you have experience in coordinating and managing digital marketing for an events business or team? Are you highly organised and tech savvy? In this rare role you will influence and manage the digital marketing of events in Australia and New Zealand and oversee the development and maintenance of the business' digital footprint.

This could suit a Marketing Specialist (Casual) with previous experience in coordinating and managing digital marketing function. Experience in digital system build out and back end and ensuring qualifying capability, integration and synergy with vendors and Thomson Reuters systems is essential.

You will build, activate and measure omnichannel marketing campaigns to drive awareness and demand among sponsors and delegates. A key focus will be to select and leverage digital technology to establish a best-in-class digital portfolio which enhances the brand and opens up new advertising revenue streams.

This is a casual role which requires a minimum commitment of 3 working days per week.

About the Role In this opportunity as Marketing Specialist (Casual), you will:

  • Identify target audiences and devise digital marketing campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
  • Analyze data to help shape future marketing strategies
  • Contribute to processes that help enhance structures and process improvements in digital marketing prioritization, measurement and deployment
  • Identify trends and insights, optimize spend and performance based on the insights
  • Create paid media campaigns and optimize based on pre-determined KPIs
  • Create effective SEM and content marketing strategies
  • Coordinate external media and internal stakeholders to prepare go to market communication strategies

About You You're a fit for the role of Marketing Specialist (Casual) if your background includes:

  • Minimum 4 years plus managing events with significant digital marketing experience in the above, driving uplift in demand and positive customer experience essential.
  • A track record in building a successful digital marketing events function including making technology recommendations and qualifying and managing tech vendors effectively.
  • Experience in technology that manages marketing website brand pages, creates highly functioning registrations, manages speakers, delegate payments, live streaming and speaker follow up etc essential.
  • Able to work effectively with events and marketing professionals and the wider TR business to create compelling and seamless digital marketing event programs
