Role:This is a Full Time, Fixed Term, 2-year contract position in the Pathology Network West Connect Project. As Senior Integration Analyst you will be responsible for utilising your capabilities, insight, expertise, and experience to provide authoritative advice, leadership, mentorship, and skills to deliver the Pathology Connect Integration workstream.What you'll achieve: As a senior technical team member and technical domain expert, provide leadership and guidance to your team, to other project teams, vendors, and stakeholders through your daily interactionsManage your project team to deliver high quality outputs, on-time, and on-budget. Identity and manage risks and issuesManage the team to ensure delivery of integration associated data migration outcomes.Agree a data migration scope, ensure methodology for movement is designed, tested, validated, and successfully executed. Deliver any data migration workstreams related to your workstream.Lead collaboratively the technical and application teams, and vendors to design, document, and architect the LIS solution integration ensuring designs align with Parkville architectural principlesWork collaboratively with the Pathology SME’s and stakeholders, LIS Project team, PNW Program team, Parkville EMR team, and LIS solution vendor(s), External vendors, and other stakeholders to deliver outcomes Your skills and experience: Extensive and demonstrable experience in Health Service applications and integration (with preference for LIS, EMR and PAS experience) - 5+yearsExpert technical knowledge of standard messaging structures including HL7 and other protocols - 5+yearsExperience in designing, developing, and supporting HL7 and other health related interfacesIntegration engine experience (interface design, build, testing, deployment, support)Experience and/or certification for Rhapsody Integration EngineUse of Java, JavaScript and/or other object-oriented development languagesAnalytical skills for information collection, problem solving, design, build and recommendationsSelf-leadership in managing workload, timelines and contributing to the environment If this sounds like you, click to view the position description.About Pathology Network West (PNW) and the Pathology Connect Project:Pathology Network West is an exciting transformation program spanning the four health services of the Parkville Precinct: RCH, Peter Mac, RMH and The Women’s. This strategic program will amalgamate the pathology services within the Parkville Precinct forming a new public pathology entity that will provide world-class, research-led public pathology services. The Parkville Precinct has a strong history of collaboration with each health service taking responsibility for precinct-wide reforms. The Royal Melbourne Hospital is the lead site for the PNW Program, maintaining continued close relationships with the hospitals throughout the PNW Program.One of the key pillars of the PNW Program is the Pathology Connect Project. The objective of the Pathology Connect Project is to implement a single Laboratory Information System (LIS) solution to support the delivery of pathology services across the new public pathology entity. The Pathology Connect Project will focus on the seamless integration of the LIS solution with Parkville Precinct health systems and services. To deliver the integrated solution the project requires a dedicated team.
