Qualifications: Tertiary Qualifications in a relevant field such as HR Management, Employment Relations, Law or Organisational Psychology White Card C Class Drivers’ License Experience: Minimum 15 years in the IR/HR Industry Minimum 10 years’ experience in a Managerial role preferably in the construction industry Strong experience in Fair Work Commission representations including dispute related matters and complex negotiations. Strong experience in dealings with multiple unions (such as: CFMEU, AWU, AMWU, ETU & CEPU) Required Competencies: Extensive knowledge and understanding of the Fair Work Act Ability to interpret Common Law Contracts, Awards and Enterprise Agreements, in particular the SC Hydro Pty Ltd AWU Tunnel and Associated Works Greenfield Agreement 2021 – 2025 and the SC Hydro Pty Ltd AWU, CFMMEU Surface Works Greenfield Agreement 2021 – 2025 and SC Hydro Pty Ltd – AWU – Camp Services Greenfield Agreement 2023 – 2027 Sound negotiation and problem-solving skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong leadership skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Well-developed time management skills. Core Accountabilities and Responsibilities: Provide expert advice, consultancy and case management services on a range of complex workplace relations issues Managing relationships with unions and ensuring that the Company's treatment of employees is consistent with its core business values and objectives. Lead Enterprise Agreement negotiations ensuring a ‘best for project approach’ by considering long term strategies and plans. Oversees investigations and resolutions of complex or critical industrial relations issues in a timely and effective manner. Participating in and/or leading projects focused on continuous improvement. Provide expert IR advice including interpretation of relevant legislation, awards and enterprise agreements Liaison with Payroll team regarding application of industrial instruments. Coordinating subcontractor pre-qualification audits and mobilisation of personnel. Delivering training to management and other personnel on IR and HR topics. Develop and implement policies and procedures across the project workforce. Ensuring compliance, provision of instruction, advice and support to personnel and management in the implementation of Project industrial systems including: counselling/discipline, issue resolution, probation, return to work and performance evaluations. Ability to liaise with all levels of a typical workforce and comfortable interacting with a range of issues. Develop relationships with Project leaders and relevant external stakeholders.
