About the roleAs the Assistant Director, Physical and Information Security you will Under broad direction undertake complex and/or sensitive work related to the protective security of the Treasury, its tenancies, its classified information holdings and key stakeholders.nage critical protective security operational programs including Security guarding and Control Room at Canberra, Sydney and Melbourne Treasury Offices, and for security services clients Secure zone construction, accreditation and certification for all Treasury facilities Intelligence and liaison activity including secure information systems, information management and control, and incident response and investigation Distribution of appropriate classified information resources to key internal stakeholders Secure container, secure waste disposal and SCEC locksmith services End-to-end administration of a wide variety of electronic security systems AFP Protective Command liaison and financial managementManage significant financial resources including procurement, physical and software maintenance contracts, routine and non-routine matters in support of critical security systems and protective security programs.ork closely with Chief Financial Officer Branch CFOB contacts to maintain financial governance.entify, prepare and drive the approval process for protective security-related projects.dentify and manage the consultants and contractorproviders associated with protective security projects.ork with the Project Management Team and CFOB to discharge projects.aintain detailed records and operating manuals of completed projects.rk with relevant stakeholders at Treasury State Offices to manage the ongoing protective security arrangements at each.onsultation with Office Heads, secretarial staff and security guarding staff.aintain accurate and up-to-date site security plans, procedures, incident management and contacts.nage the relationships with the full range of stakeholders in relation to the protective security environment of the Treasury tenancy, and the Treasury Building more broadly.anage relationships, agreements and services to non-Treasury tenants of the building.aft, review and carry out security services agreements and service catalogues with relevant Treasury Portfolio bodies.aintain relationships with stakeholders to do so.ad and manage a small team.he successful applicant be required to obtain a PV security clearance to perform this role.igibilityEmployees of the Treasury are required to be Australian citizens and must hold a current security clearance or successfully complete a clearance prior to commencement.w to applyPlease refer to the Position Description for further information about this opportunity andsho w to apply.
