We're currently seeking a dedicated IT Support Engineer to fill this permanent role, which demands full-time presence onsite, five days a week. About You Our client is looking for an adaptable team player with a proactive attitude to take on the role of IT Support Engineer. The Role As an IT Support Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in our client's IT support team. Your primary responsibility will be providing frontline support to a diverse user base of technical and non-technical staff within the organisation. With over 1500 users and 2000 endpoints spread across eight bases, you'll be working in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment. Key Responsibilities: Deliver outstanding customer service and handle all IT support incidents and service requests. Manage inbound calls and queues efficiently to meet service level expectations. Provide technical support for hardware, software, and business applications. Troubleshoot IT issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement solutions. Oversee end-user computing tasks such as patching, building, deployment, and asset procurement. Respond to incidents and outages promptly, ensuring effective communication throughout. Administer Microsoft Azure AD, Exchange Online, and other Microsoft 365 services. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and support efficiency. Exhibit strong leadership qualities and provide support as the second-in-command to the IT Support Manager. Skills & Experience Hands-on experience in a similar IT support role. Proficiency with ITSM and device management toolsets. Strong technical skills in computer hardware, peripherals, telephony, and video conferencing. Solid understanding of Windows, iOS, Microsoft 365, and server operating systems. Experience with Microsoft Exchange Online, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and network troubleshooting. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities. ITIL certification and CompTIA certifications are preferred. Desirable certifications include Microsoft and Cloud (Azure, 365 Certified, MCSE, MCSA, MCITP, etc.). This is a full-time onsite position with participation in a weekly after-hours on-call roster.
