Remuneration: $137,173 - $163,431 per annum + superannuation + Salary Packaging Location : John Hunter Hospital - Awabakal Country Employment Type : Permanent Full Time Position Classification : Health Manager Level 4 Hours Per Week : 38 Applications Close: Monday 11 December 2023 Service Manager - Outpatient Services About the role: The Service Manager for John Hunter Hospital (JHH) Outpatients is accountable for the delivery of clinical care within the defined scope of practice; outcomes of patient care delivery; professional development of staff; and the efficient and effective management of human, financial and material resources within the Outpatient Service. In this role you will: Lead and manage the overall deployment of services within the Outpatient Service Ensure strategic and operational KPI’s and objectives are achieved through the delivery of quality services that reflect the District's overarching strategy of Excellence, Every Patient, Every Time. The role will work in close partnership with a Senior Project Leader, Data and Activity Manager, Executive Director Information Communication & Technology and the JHH General Manager as part of a transformation of the Outpatient Services. You will be provided a thorough handover by the relieving incumbent with support from the General Manager throughout the orientation phase.   Where you will be working: This is an opportunity to work for the largest local health district in NSW which services a population of more than 900,000 across the Hunter, New England and Lower Mid North Coast areas. John Hunter Hospital is a Level 6, tertiary referral, major trauma and teaching hospital and is the largest hospital in the Hunter New England Local Health District. Additional Information: Master's level qualification in health service management or relevant leadership or management experience.
