This role will also assist the AM Supervisor operationally when required as well as inbound/outbound document control for all freight movements. What you’ll do Ensure that relevant policies and procedures as outlined in the induction process are observed. Provide timely, relevant, and accurate reports relative to pallets. Support business unit reviews and updates of systems to support company cost reductions and risk regarding pallets. Proactively maintaining a positive can-do relationship with customers and ensure regular communication in a timely manner. Support and govern strategic operational pallet planning initiatives that will ultimately result in lower costs and tighter control measures. Assist in the development, facilitation, and documentation of process controls in relation to pallets. Administer and reconcile pallet hire accounts using relevant software. Provide quality customer-focused administrative services. Confirm delivery timeframes for the following day. Assist with driver payments and pay queries. Complete job booking and driver allocations. Ensure timely entry of trip sheets/delivery notes to maintain correct invoicing. Follow up on customer inquiries without delay and report to relevant manager when necessary. What you’ll bring Operational knowledge/understanding of pallet controls/ management (preferred / highly regarded) Working knowledge in Word, Excel, Power Point. Knowledge of Rockhopper, FMS, White and Blue Rockhopper, Crystal reports, Data warehouse applications advantageous. Knowledge of various vehicle types and their specifications within the transport industry (preferred) Some understanding/awareness of Cost, Margin and Revenue and ability to review and process data from financial reports. Ability to initiate and complete improvement projects. Dedication to customer service and providing positive outcomes for our valued clients.
