Industrial Relations Advisor Due to continued growth across Australia, Georgiou is seeking an Industrial relations advisor to join the business for a challenging and rewarding role. You will play a multifaceted role, combining expertise in Labor relations, negotiation, conflict resolution, and compliance to support the successful completion of projects while fostering positive relationships among all stakeholders. What we’re good at? You will experience an environment where your contribution will be highly valued and where you can really make a difference.What you’regood at:Proven experience in the mediation in conflicts and grievances between employers, employees, and unions, promoting peaceful resolutions to disputes Ability to understand the concerns of all parties involved and find mutually acceptable solutions is essential for maintaining a harmonious work environmentUnderstand and manage potential risks associated with Labor relations issues and develop strategies to mitigate them. By proactively addressing Labor-related risks, avoid costly disputes, litigation, and project delaysHold a Tertiary Qualification in HR or IR or equivalent experience/qualifications Good working knowledge of Fair Work Act and its practical application and Right of Entry legislation and application4+ years’ experience in IR/ER in Construction/Mining or heavy industry What you’ll do (but not limited to):Provide IR advice including interpretation of relevant legislation, awards, and enterprise agreements in relation to blue collar and white-collar workforceManaging union right of entry to site and guidance of union officialsIn-field first response to any industrial incident and/or action (in accordance with industrial risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans)Delivering training to management and other personnel on IR and HR topics. Knowledge of Fair Work Act, industrial systems & structures and industrial agreement terms, conditions, & remunerationDevelop relationships with Project leaders and relevant external stakeholdersOur best offer:Australian owned and CCF multiple award-winning national business with a strong pipeline of upcoming projects and opportunities for career developmentCompetitive salary package and access to Georgiou Perks platform providing discounts to a multitude of retailersSupportive leadership teams who care for and mentor you to achieve your full potentialValues-led organisation guided by care, integrity and excellence in everything we doWell-being leave, Paid parental leave and flexible work arrangements available
