To plan, order and manage Barbeques Galore inventory supply to ensure stock levels and supply costs remain within budgeted guidelines. Working cross functionally with product, demand and supply team to ensure stock arrives on time to support business goals, and working with suppliers to optimise cost, improve DIFOT and prioritise order arrivals Planning Plan, order and manage incoming inventory into our DC network based on demand forecast, placed in line with lead times, and regularly reviewed for changes in schedules Approval of Purchase Orders to be placed within OTB and Inventory budgets Managing Purchase orders around production and shipping schedule changes and capacity constraints Maintaining OOS % < 4% through peak trade on key lines, and communicating major OOS and recovery plans Collaboration Collaborating internally with product, demand and logistics team to ensure tactical execution of stock to support the sales plan, while optimising inventory levels and minimising supply chain cost Quality Measuring and improving supplier performance in terms of DIFOT, service levels and supply chain costs. Implement best practices, tools, and systems to enhance supply planning processes and decision-making. Monitor production performance, track adherence to schedules, and adjust plans as needed to maintain optimal operational efficiency. Qualifications: Tertiary qualified in business or supply chain (desirable) 5 years Retail operations experience (desirable) IT literate with good working knowledge of spreadsheets, forecasting tools and large data sets Experience: Experience in a supply/inventory/replenishment planning position in a complex supply chain Solid understanding of retail operations Experience in supporting implementation of change improvements Experience working with complex data Knowledge: An understanding of multi-site inventory control techniques and inventory management principles Skills: (Competencies & Behaviours) Manage the order replenishment process by exception to meet service level KPIs, availability, stock loss and stock holding Develop buying plans and forecasts for the overseas suppliers to manufacture and ship against Crate supply plan for planned promos, events, range reviews and seasonality Manage supplier fulfilment performance Manage supply chain related data and resolve data issues between buyers, service providers and suppliers Prioritise flow of products and negotiate/collaborate with the logistics team to resolve capacity/flow conflicts Work collaboratively with overseas and domestic agents, buyers, inventory team, service providers, international supply chain and suppliers Support continuous improvement of an integrated planning platform to manage stock from supplier to DCs Manage the flow of product to final destination Balance the inventory-in-transit between each state to optimise service levels against stock Desirable Attributes Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment Ambitious and keen to develop and grow Problem solving mindset and a focus on accuracy
