Limestone Coast Local Health Network, Kingston Soldier’s Memorial Hospital Salary: $28.52 - $28.82 p/hr + 25% Casual Loading - Casual, working over a 7 day roster - WHA3 Overview The Home Support Worker is responsible for providing a timely, efficient and effective service, that involves the cleaning and shopping services to clients of Domiciliary Care, thereby promoting their independence at home and preventing premature and/or inappropriate admission to residential care facilities or long stay hospital beds. The Home Support Worker may also be required to undertake laundry duties. The South Australian public sector promotes diversity and flexible ways of working part-time. Applicants are encouraged to discuss the flexible working arrangements for this role. Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Check and appropriate immunisation requirements. Check(s) DHS National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Check  National Police Certificate (NPC) for employment involving unsupervised contact with vulnerable groups required for this position (E.g. aged care employment or work involving vulnerable clients)  Immunisation Risk for this position is - Category A (direct contact with blood or body substances) SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.
