The Youth Centre Manager plays a pivotal role in leading the Kununurra Youth Centre, overseeing PCYC’s core diversionary program-safeSPACE, and working alongside young people and community to achieve positive outcomes. Your leadership will be instrumental in driving impact in a dynamic environment. You will be responsible for: Co-designing, delivering and evaluating innovative diversionary programs for Youth At Risk Developing collaborative partnerships within the community to provide activities and programs that align with the PCYC mission and best meet the needs of the local community Building stakeholder relationships in the local community Providing leadership, management, supervision and support to all staff, paid and unpaid Ensuring the successful performance of Centre operations, including daily operations, staff management, governance, financial management, facilities and compliance Representing PCYC within the local community and develop stakeholder relationships About you: Tertiary Qualifications in Youth Services, Community Development or related field. Extensive experience in these areas will also be considered Operational experience, including delivering, monitoring and evaluating a range of programs, managing and leading staff, facilities, contractors/stakeholders Ability to represent PCYC as an ambassador in Kununurra A strong understanding of delivering services in regional locations Strong networking and relationship building skills, ability to work closely with partners, colleagues and community stakeholders Ability to develop the capacity of your team, and to make change Experienced in financial management, business plans and budgets A commitment to the safeguarding of children and young people Ability to obtain a valid Working with Children card and National Police Clearance If this sounds like your next role, apply now as applications close 23 April 2024: Be willing to obtain a Working with Children Check and National Police Clearance issued within a 6-month period.
