Not only do we have the best views in town, but we also boast a Bistro and Bar, multiple event spaces catering for up to 400 guests, and the iconic SkyPoint Climb – Australia’s highest external building climb. We host around half a million visitors each year with a team of front-line hospitality professionals, chefs, climb leaders and many more all focused on being Australia’s best high altitude experience!The Opportunity Reporting to the People & Culture Manager and based at SkyPoint in Surfers Paradise, this generalist role is hands-on in the application of people & culture processes at SkyPoint, providing the successful candidate the opportunity to coordinate a wide range of people functions across recruitment (internal and external), leading onboarding tasks to ensure a smooth introduction for new team members, support Management in general HR policy and process interpretation, and drive team culture initiatives. This role also supports a range of initiatives, ‘value add’ activities, and projects in the People & Culture (P&C) space. Responsibilities will include:• Coordination of the end to end recruitment process, including (where applicable) briefing, advertising, screening, participation in interviews and assessments and offer generation, all whilst maximising candidate engagement;• Lead the onboarding experience of team members, including the delivery of face to face orientation;• Supporting and coaching team members, supervisors, and managers in people processes, providing consistent and thoughtful advice in people related matters;• Coordination of people initiatives such as team benefits, reward and recognition program, and initiatives to boost team culture;• Supporting performance management and disciplinary processes to ensure fair and consistent outcomes; and• Support and execution of P&C initiatives across our diverse workforce, including activations and events, training and education, and other campaign projects like engagement surveys, performance reviews etc.About youYou will have 1 – 2 years previous experience working in a similar generalist and/or coordinator level role. Ideally you will be a self-starter, have strong recruitment skills with experience in volume recruitment and be comfortable in a fast paced, busy environment that will see you managing multiple roles and competing demands.Your previous recruitment experience, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritise while successfully managing relationships with stakeholders and candidates at all levels will see you succeed in this role. Qualifications in Human Resources will be highly regarded.
