Deputy Under Treasurer

Deputy Under Treasurer Full-time Executive ACT Treasury, a stream of the Chief Minister, Treasury and Economic Development Directorate (CMTEDD), is seeking an appropriately qualified person to fill the position of Deputy Under Treasurer, Budget, Procurement, Infrastructure and Finance (BPIF). The Deputy Under Treasurer, BPIF, is responsible for the provision of advice to the government on budget, procurement, infrastructure and finance matters. The successful applicant will have strong policy and numerical skills, an impressive track record of executive leadership and excellent communication skills. The successful applicant will report directly to the Under Treasurer, ACT Treasury within CMTEDD. Eligibility/Other Requirements: Appropriate tertiary qualifications, or experience in commerce, law or a related field combined with strong numeracy skills gained through experience in financial analysis and reporting. Remuneration: The position attracts a remuneration package ranging from $396,738 - $412,649 depending on current superannuation arrangements of the successful applicant. This includes a cash component of $353,577. Contract: The successful applicant will be engaged under a performance-based contract for a period of up to five years.
