The area is known for its pristine waterways and beaches, stunning hinterland with rivers, streams and forests. About TareeA historic town on the banks of the beautiful Manning River, Taree is the vibrant centre of the Manning Valley and a great base for exploring the national parks and beautiful beachers of the Barrington Coast. Taree has all of the facilities, accommodation, restaurants and cafes, farmers markets and activities you need, whilst still within commuting distance from coastal locations; Forster, Hallidays Point, Diamond Beach, Old Bar and Harrington. If Taree is not your preferred location we are also recruiting for Powerline Workers at Kempsey, Buladelah and Stroud. About the role As a Powerline Worker you will be responsible for the general construction, installation, connection, maintenance and repair of both high voltage (HV) and low voltage (LV) overhead and underground distribution network assets and equipment.About you You will have a collaborative approach and understand the importance of working side by side with colleagues and customers. You will positively contribute to the community and stakeholders and put safety at the forefront of everything you do. Required qualifications Certificate III in ESI - Power Systems with electives in Distribution Overhead Driver's Licence WorkCover NSW Construction induction Certificate Evidence of attainment and maintenance of all regulatory, industry and business required licences, authorisations and other such certificates deemed necessary for the role Ability to work effectively during times of unplanned events Any participation in out of hours On-Call will require you to be in the general vicinity of the On Call area Why Essential Energy We offer competitive remuneration commensurate with skills and experience and 16% superannuation. For information on our employee benefits (such as overtime and penalty rates, tools and relocation assistance) please visit our careers page.We are proud to be recognised as a .
