Join our team and be a part of this exciting time in Standards Australia’s journey!About the roleYou will work with Project Managers, business unit leaders and cross-functionalteam members to ensure that business and functional requirements for technology projects are agreed, documented, and delivered through all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle.You will join a dynamic IT Program Delivery team, delivering digital transformational projects in support of our corporate vision, all with the benefit of strong executive and business support. Our highly collaborative IT team works across multiple technologies including Salesforce, MarkLogic, Azure, and bespoke applications. We are progressing on our agile delivery journey, with a focus on continuous improvement and shared learning.What you'll do Analyse business requirements and create ‘as-is’, ‘to-be’, solution flow diagrams, and use cases Collaborate with Tech Leads to create non-functional epics Analyse functional epics and create functional and non-functional user stories Consult with business and technical stakeholders to create design artefacts Perform gap analysis by comparing the features with the agreed business requirements Analyse dependencies to identify impacted applications Lead refinement and grooming ceremonies Capture stakeholder feedback during sprint and release demos Attend Architectural Review Board (ARB) and Big Room Planning (BRP) sessions Effectively communicate complex technical concepts in a clear and understandable way to technical and non-technical stakeholders About you Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst Strong understanding of software development methodologies and IT systems Proficient in technical documentation and modelling tools Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Experience in Agile and hybrid development environments Familiarity with project management methodologies Culture & BenefitsWe at Standards Australia are proud to have been awarded the prestigious Employer of Choice Award 2023!
