Flexible and mum-friendly work options with full time, part time or school hours available Varied paediatric case load (0-18 years) Working in a range of settings including their newly renovated clinic and their specialised surf program (if of interest). This successful paediatric practice is looking for an Occupational Therapist  keen to take on a paediatric caseload in the Sutherland Shire area, working in their newly renovated, well-resourced clinic and option to participate in their specialised surf program (if this is of interest to you). The Role: Undertake assessments and provide intervention, liaising with families, teachers & other relevant stakeholders Interventions will be carried out in the clinic Interventions will have a focus on evidence-based practice Provide support and consultation to other members of the dedicated team. Involvement in their afternoon surf program (if this is of interest to you). The Surf Program: *This is an optional component of the role Occupational Therapy in the Surf! Provide 1:1 safe surfing assistance – on the beach and in the water Develop the confidence of children with disabilities Teach children how to listen to instructions, regulate their emotions and be part of a great community. Help kids feel safe in the water and participate in an activity that they can boast about! Requirements: Tertiary Qualification in Occupational Therapy (with AHPRA registration) Desire to work in a paediatric Occupational Therapy setting with a playful demeanour Good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and families to ensure that therapy is fun and engaging.
