Your responsibilities will include the meticulous maintenance and reporting of the Group Risk Appetite Statement and Divisional Key Risk Indicators, which are crucial for the strategic direction and integrity of our risk management practices.In this role, you will report to the Head of Risk Governance & Reporting and work closely with a diverse range of stakeholders across the BOQ Group. Your collaborative efforts will be key in developing and implementing the Group Risk Appetite Statement and Key Risk Indicators, ensuring they are effectively communicated and understood across the group and its divisions.Your role will also encompass the coordination and preparation of comprehensive papers for the Group Risk Divisional and Executive Risk Committees. You will ensure that these papers accurately reflect the current risk landscape and support the decision-making processes of these committees. About you With a background in governance and reporting within the financial services sector, you’ll bring solid knowledge and understanding of Risk Management practices and Risk Appetite Statements (RAS). We operate in a highly regulated, fast-paced environment so we are seeking a strategic thinker who can think quick on their feet!As a senior specialist you have the proven ability to work with any stakeholder. You also have high attention to detail, strong analytical skills, good communication skills and demonstrated experience in uplifting processes and practices in regard to risk governance and reporting.Other skills and experience we are seeking include: 2+ years in Governance and Reporting4+ years financial services experienceTertiary Qualifications in Commerce, Business or Information Systems or similarProfessional balanced approachSound report writing and presentation skillsAbility to communicate in a clear and unambiguous manner and,Outcome orientated, with a clear understanding of customer requirements Working for us is fun and fast-paced, and we are seeking top talent to take us where we want to go.
