We are seeking an energetic, highly skilled and experienced Early Childhood Teacher to join our passionate team at our amazing service, Sesame Kids ELC

About your new role :

  • Your passion and enthusiasm will see you lead a classroom by effectively engaging with children, families, Educators, and the wider community to implement the educational program for our Kindergarten children
  • You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of your classroom and flexible routines.
  • You will work alongside the Ed Leader to provide creative learning experiences.
  • You will mentor and lead your team in your classroom to incorporate collaboration, reflection and respect at all times.
  • You will provide a comprehensive Transition to School Program.
  • You will implement the educational program and experiences to meet the individual needs of our children.
  • You will have a strong knowledge of the EYLF, NQS, and Transition Statements.
  • You will demonstrate an excellent understanding of the Victorian Early Years Learning Development Framework VEYLDF
  • You will work at all times in compliance with Government regulations and centre policies and procedures to meet our high-quality standards.
  • You will network with relevant stakeholders in the local community.
  • You will have confidence in building strong relationships and partnerships with children and families.
  • You will have the ability to contribute to the documentation of the children's skills and interests, and include a clear cycle of reflective practice.
  • Add in 6 weeks annual leave and a full day program planning. Additional programming time will be given to complete transition to school statements.
  • A Bachelor of Early Childhood or equivalent qualification as approved by ACECQA.
  • Current approved first aid, anaphylaxis and asthma qualifications.
  • Current Employment Working with Children Check.
  • A sound understanding of the EYLF and VEYLDF.
  • Confidence in building strong relationships and partnerships with children and families.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Pay: $39.00 - $48.00 per hour
