My client is a well-known not-for-profit that is leading the way in youth homelessness services. They provide client centered support programs for young people between 16-25 years, including young parents, in the Western Sydney region. The programs include living skills, brokerage, mentoring, and outreach support to young people at risk of or experiencing homelessness. As Team Leader you will be leading and supporting a highly experienced team of 7 individuals, which include Intake, Compliance, Program Leads and Caseworkers. The team works across 2 sites, Doonside and Castle Hill from a hot desking environment, so they are very mobile, as you will be too. Your in-depth experience in theories of practice and youth case management will be put to good use working with your team, as they seek your expertise and guidance. Your exceptional communication and service delivery abilities will ensure ongoing relationships with all stakeholders, integral to this organization and team. Your business acumen and creative thinking will play a big role when working alongside the Executive Officer for operational and strategic planning for the future. What you need to be successful: * Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, Welfare or related areas * Minimum 2 years' experience in managing staff/teams, with a strong ability to build effective engaged teams with a positive culture * Experience or knowledge in Child Protection & working with families * Experience delivering case management with young people from complex backgrounds. * Demonstrated networking and advocacy skills with both internal and external stakeholders * Experience working from a trauma informed approach, supporting staff and volunteers to do the same. * Knowledge in child & youth development, homelessness, safety planning and youth mental health * Experience in managing crisis situations with a risk-adverse approach * Experience working in the specialist homelessness services sector, will be highly regarded Credentialing required: * Current Working with Children Check * National Police Clearance * NSW Driver's License * Access to a comprehensive insured vehicle WorkPac is Australia's leading, privately owned recruitment provider to the mining, construction, engineering, light industrial and healthcare sectors.
