About us   Grand Pacific Health is a not-for-profit, primary health care organisation.  We’re here to provide our local communities in NSW and the ACT with equitable, inclusive and integrated health care including physical health and mental health care services.  We currently employ 340 people, provide services from 25 locations and are continuing to grow.   About the position   GPH provides a comprehensive and holistic range of services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities across our service delivery region. These services span five key pillars of focus including community engagement, health screening, chronic disease management, health promotion and aged care.   The Service Manager will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of culturally appropriate and holistic healthcare services to the Aboriginal community. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders to enhance the health and well-being of Aboriginal individuals and communities.   This position provides leadership, coordination and day-to-day operational management to the Aboriginal health team and delegated programs.  The position also provides an important role in advocating for First Nations communities and helping to strengthen engagement and cultural responsiveness within all of our services and programs.   Location is flexible, with this position able to be based from our hubs across ACT, Wollongong, Nowra, Ulladulla, Batemans Bay, Moruya, Bega, Goulburn, Wagga Wagga or Queanbeyan.   This is a full-time opportunity, fixed term position until 30 June 2025 with possibility of extension.   We are looking for someone with:   Identify as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander and be an active community member within the local Aboriginal communities. Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or relevant experience in a leadership role relating to health, community, and/or government services. Demonstrated ability to manage staff including guiding, motivating, mentoring and developing the workforce. Understanding of current policy and cross cultural issues particularly as they relate to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, their families and communities.
