Forward looking, the Engineering function has developed a Capability Plan to enable the Engineering workforce to meet our defence customers' evolving needs, both in Australia and internationally. BDA is currently seeking a Configuration Management Specialist to join our Engineering Strategy & Operations team, dedicated to fostering Engineering excellence through diversity, culture, and strategic initiatives. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in facilitating Configuration Control Board (CCB) meetings, ensuring that all stakeholders are effectively engaged and decisions regarding configuration changes are made in accordance with established processes and standards. Additionally, you will collaborate across teams to streamline configuration management procedures and enhance overall efficiency within the organisation. Responsibilities: Implementing processes to review, approve, and manage changes to configuration items. Establishing and maintain technical baselines Plan and coordinate the release of configuration items into production or deployment environments. Conduct first-time quality audits. Carry out configuration status accounting. Organise and lead Change Control Board (CCB) meetings. Continuously improve the CCB process based on feedback and lessons learned. Develop, analyse, and ensure compliance with Boeing processes. About you To be successful in this role you will have: A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role, preferably within a related industry A strong technical background Be Able to Work well within a team and have the ability to lead Experience using Product Lifecycle Management system, electronic document management system, or similar Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet Defence security requirements.
